Thank you SO much....the MEC patch is now my main go-to patch and tone. The other one is gonna take some tweaking....but I like it, and I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I hope this thread lasts forever (or until the....B4???...comes out!)Not quite sure if this helps, but give this patch a try. this is a patch I created to duplicate a darkglass b7k ultra sound.

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 5, level: 100, attack: 7
Section 2: metalwrld: gain:25, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 18
Section 3: svt: bass: 3, mid:4, treble: 2, midfq: 300hz, gain: 40, level: 40, ultra:both, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50
For that warwick sound, give this patch a try. this was a patch I created a while back to duplicate the mec pick-ups sounds from warwick basses.
MEC simulator
Section 1: exciter: bass: 5, treble: 7, level:80
Section 2: booster: gain: 30, bass: 2, treble: 3, level: 100
Section 3: bass pre: bass: 4, treble: 5 level: 59, mid: 7, midfq: 450hz
Give these patches a try and see if it works out for you.

I've been pouring through the pages on this thread looking for ambient-ish patches and a sitar sound. I saw some conversation about a sitar sound, but didn't see a resolution, was someone able to come up with one? Any ideas for ambient sounds? I'm learning that to get what I'm looking for ambient-wise I'll probably need an expression pedal, which I don't have at the moment.
