Zoom b3 patch Ideas

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch closely duplicates an mxr bass distortion pedal sound on led mode. the svt amp model on this setting closely emulates the mid-focus distortion sound when the mxr bass distortion pedal is in led mode.

Emexar bass distortion 2

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 5, level: 100, attack: 7

Section 2: squeak: gain: 40, tone: 50, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: svt: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 2, midfq: 300hz, gain: 40, level: 40, ultra: off, cab: sb4x12, mix: 50

If you're looking for a distorted ratm sound, You can try the vintage grind patch. it's on page 38. as for the qotsa sound, you can try the vintage overdrive patch. I don't recall what page it's on, but I do recall the patch settings.

Vintage overdrive

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 5, level: 100, attack: 7

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 25, tone: 70, level: 100, balance: 40

Section 3: svt: bass: 4, mid: 5, treble: 2, midfq: 300hz, gain: 35, level: 40, ultra: low, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50

Give these patches a try an see if it works out for you.

Here's a new patch idea I came up with. this patch is similar to the vmt light drive, only with a sansamp model for a more edgy sound while maintaining a light drive.

VMT light drive 2

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 20, ratio: 5, level: 100, attack: 7

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 30, tone: 75, level: 100, balance: 40

Section 3: bassdrive: bass: 4, treble: 3, presence: 0, gain: 45, blend: 70, level: 90, mid: 7

You sure there was a clean grit on patch j5? cause I got a big moog patch on mine. if you're looking for a clean grit sound, give this patch a try.

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 40, tone: 75, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: ag amp: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 5, midfq: 250hz, gain: 45, level: 90, char: both, cab: ag8x10, mix: 50

This is a patch I created a while back to create to duplicate a voodoo lab sparkle drive sound. give this patch a try and see if it works out for you.

I'm assuming it's an overdriven bass sound. give these patches a try.

section 3: super b: bass: 3, mid: 4, treble: 2, midfq: 250hz, gain: 30, level: 80, presence: 7, cab: ha4x10, mix: 50

one of these patches should give you that sound. give'em a try and see if it works out for you.

Yup, there was Cleangrit on patch J5, and there is Big Room instead of Big Moog patch in my Zoom B3.
