Here's a new patch I came up with. this patch sounds like a more heavy version of the darkglass vmt.

Vintage metaltubes 2

Section 1: m comp: thresh: 17, ratio: 4, level: 90, attack: 7

Section 2: squeak: gain; 30, tone: 25, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: d.i plus: bass: 4, mid: 4, treble: 3, gain: 70, blend: 80, level: 90, color: on, chan: clean

Here's another patch I came up with. this patch has a modern but a warm rich bass sound with natural compression.

Retro bass dude

Section 2: free slot(any effect you want)

Section 3: g-krueger: bass: 4, mid: 3, treble: 2, midfq: 300hz, gain: 45, level: 90, color: off, cab: bm4x12, mix: 50

Here's another patch idea I came up with. this patch has an edgy overdrive sound with warm compression.

Smooth overdrive 2

Section 2: t-scream: gain: 40, tone; 75, level: 100, balance: 25

Section 3: g-krueger: bass: 4, mid: 3, treble: 2, midfq: 250hz, gain: 45, level: 90, color: off, cab: sb4x12, mix: 50

I once thought of this patch and it sounds pretty close to his sound from the master of puppets album.

That's cool. glad the patch helped you out. and you can adjust any of the settings to your liking if you want. that's pretty much the point of this thread. that you find any nifty patch you want and see which one suits your needs and if desired, can adjust the settings to your liking. anywho, enjoy the settings.

Gurus of the B3, I beseech your wisdom. I've got some great patch ideas, and am loving my zoom. I am, however, lost at trying to get a good fretless/chorus sound, a la the bass in Yellow Ledbetter. ().

Any ideas?

DEFRET: sense 25 / color 10/ level 110 / tone 8

Here's a new patch I came up with. inspired by a sound I created on my fender rumble v3 40, this patch has a warm overdriven bass sound that can be useful for many genre that requires a warm bass tone.

Here's another patch Idea I came up with. this patch is another hartke lh500 emulation with an added bright feature.

Note: the exciter emulates the bright switch of the hartke lh500 and the compressor on the hartke amp model can simulate the limiter.

I'm not sure if there's an autowah/filter on it or what but it sounds awesome, dark as hell maybe a mild phaser/flanger, not sure...

I just gave you patches for what duplicates the vintage microtubes. it may not sound exactly the same thing, but it is pretty close to it. chances are you may not get the exact same sound, but the patch I provide closely duplicates it. and the vintage grind patch has been a talkbass favorite since I created the patch. however, if it's a mild overdrive you want, try this.

Here is my take on the Mild drive - obviously crappy sound due to recording on my phone, sitting in front of the amp, right next to the phone. Should give you an example of what it sounds like
