A bad amp sucks the life out of a good bass.......but I'd audition cabs before I changed a head, if I thought I liked it.

What you want is DR NICKEL Lo-Riders, which are warmer and punchier than the Stainless Lo-Riders.

Glad your dog was okay! A few of my friends dogs have had interactions with wild animals they were lucky to survive, probably most unexpected one while chasing beavers in the pond and getting too close. Usually the beavers are able to just swim away, but the dog got too close one of the young ones and ended up with an adult attacking and leaving a long gash ripped down her back.

Ok, so 10 years later I too bought one of these (the pickup is a little different—in the side), and haven’t played an upright in 50 years or so (then it was a coffin shaped baby bass never to be seen again), but I am happy as a clam, also like to buy cheaper instruments to “play with” so wanted you to know you have a time warped kindred spirit. Btw, also trying to figure out what gig bag to buy, just like you apparently did! Best to all.

Sadly it falls short yet again it doesn’t have the same sweep
Yes it’s close but close isn’t good enough
I have an original volume boost wha that I had restored and made adjustments by bending the LRD to the correct sweep

This new pedal you cannot adjust the internals although some are currently experimenting with tapping millimeters of the optics with tape non have succeeded duplicating the sweep

It’s frustrating because Jason Newsted has Cliffs Morley and all they have to do is open it and take measurements of the LRD angle but they refuse to and won’t listen to the people who have kept Cliffs tone alive

My wife bought us 'butt pillows'. (That's what I call them) I have a number of bulging disks and feel your pain! We both have less than great chairs. But we both use these seat cushions that have a u-shaped cutout for your tailbone. It relieves a lot of the pressure.

Came in to say this. LMS is great.

No input on the tuners other than if I was going to keep and play it I’d replace the tuners with guitar style keys. Unfortunately, I’m occasionally optimistic about what I’m actually going to play. On baritone uke I’ve always tuned it DGBE low to high and, mostly, play it like the highest 4 strings on a guitar. I’m no virtuoso but it works with my abilities, such as they are.

Hi. Have you changed the screw-in body rest? It looks like you've straightened the arms so it sits differently on your body.

I've heard plenty of guys slaying it on cheap amps. In fact, I have on occasion probably slayed it in on cheap backlines. If you can play and know how to fiddle with the knobs, you can make almost anything work provided it has the headroom.

I've got the BA10-2-S2 cab back in stock!

In my neck of the woods just about every cover band must be using the same boilerplate AI program (at least on Facebook). They all look exactly the same, exceptionally cheesy, and I completely ignore them now. Come one folks, put a little effort into your art!
