You can always get a hello kitty t-shirt. There’s good tips in hello kitty.
Then there’s bad kitty.

Hey Charlie! Beat me to the punch! ... ...
So what say ye, GOF's? What are your plans for this very nice late spring weekend?![]()

Not a T-bird, but...Easy enough to commission a Hello Kitty pickguard for that Thunderbird. Accessorize, accessorize.
Well, for this FIRST WEEKEND OF SUMMER, at least here in the northern hemisphere, life goes on, brah. But with less joy.
I previously had a Bluegrass Jam planned for Saturday. But we heard last weekend it was cancelled due to the funeral of a previous player on that date. I never met him, but WAS going to go out of solidarity with the current players. However, a very close and well beloved sister-in-law died suddenly of a heart attack last Sunday night! Shock of all shocks! No one suspected such a thing!! Mrs. Dog's "baby brother" is now, all of a sudden, a bereft widower in his mid 50s. So we will attend her funeral tomorrow instead, as we have made the day trip across state lines to be with him every other day since it happened.
Sunday morning I'm back at bass in church after playing lead guitar last Sunday. I expect it will a comfortable reunion of most of the regular Praise Band, except maybe one singer still out. But the SIL's passing has robbed all joy for us poor souls she left here behind. Her brothers and sisters, husband, two sons, four grandchildren and all the extended family and friends are simply stunned! We're actually glad she got the quick, merciful end she had occasionally wished for, but nobody, including her we're sure, wanted it now. She was a constantly busy, seemingly gruff but soft hearted, caring woman. There will be no filling of her shoes, nor forgetting her love.![]()
I spent a few summers playing with a cover band in Ocean City, way back in the day. Those were some fun times, and good money, too. Enjoy your trip and tell the Ocean (and the bay) that I said helloAll parts present and accounted for.The debauchery begins tonight. Seahag got the tags for her new car today after being d***** around by the DMV yesterday. For an out of state vehical they wanted a signed title and a notarized bill of sale. Nope , that changed yesterday. Now they wanted the original bill of sale. Sheesh , we bought the thing 60 miles away. Oh wait ,they'll take a fax of the thing from the dealer. Uhhhh , we have a copy right here. Nope ,gotta be a fax from the dealer. Would they have known if we went home and faxed the copy we had???????? Anyway , called the dealer and he faxed the thing in so all is well today.
Back to the debauchery. Gig tonight at a pretty hoppin VFW. A lot of them are kinda dead these days but this one was pretty darn good the last time we played there. Country Club gig tomorrow night. Lotsa money and pretty wives to look at. (Yup , I'm a dirty old man and Seahag knows it.) Sunday morning we leave for a week in Ocean City Md. ( my favorite vacation spot.) A bar two blocks to the north of us , a bar three blocks to the south of us , the beach in front of the hotel , and a Thrashers Fries next door. (It's a Maryland thing.) Get there about 1 PM , hit the bar for a couple of dozen oysters and a few Bloody Marys , check in , pass out , and start all over again about 6 PM. Bearbait's coming with us and my brother and his wife from Richmond Va. are meeting us there. Should be a hell of a week. See ya all in about a week if we can stay out of jail.![]()

My condolences, sorry for your loss.
Those left behind have the most difficult time coping with a dramatically changed life. Never forget to enjoy and appreciate each day.
I'm so sorry for your loss. Sounds like she was one of a kind, and a very special person.

Sorry for your loss @G-Dog ...

Sorry for your loss @G-Dog ...
To a life lived well. My deepest condolences.
my deepest condolences. That's a hard thing to bear. My prayers to your family and it doesn't help much but they will be waiting on the other side to greet you. I've lost both parents and my only brother a while back but that's the only way I know how to cope with it. Prayers to you and yours. God bless...

Yeah , I remember somewhere you said you were from Md. Finally........somebody that understands the total importance of Thrashers.
Oh yeah , The Purple Moose is still there and going strong.

Thrashers Fries with malt vinegar and Fisher's Popcorn, my absolute favorite! I spent more than a few evenings during my misspent youth at the Purple Moose. Glad to hear that Thrashers is still in business. It's been several decades since I was out that way.
Eastern Maryland, where it is possible to debate Rapa or Habersett. Might engage strong feelings one way or the other. It's good stuff but I'll pick black pudding first in any dispute![]()
She wasn't a musician but, if there's a rock 'n roll heaven, with a hell of a band, she's the loudest one in the angelic audience. She always did like the concerts and came to more of mine than anyone else I know.![]()
