I love cheap basses myself...I heard a saying once I'm sure you've heard the same...ID RATHER SOUND GOOD ON A CHEAP BASS THAN SOUND HORRIBLE ON AN EXSPENSIVE BASS....ever since hearing that I've been drawn toward cheap no name basses...like my Austin for example..it's American made,holds its own...

people that buy basses and 6 string short scale piccolo basses (see what I did there) as investments annoy me! Stringed instruments should be bought to be played! Now he'll spend more time worrying about scratches and finger prints more than the music! I've had a couple modern models increase...

2 jazz neck pickups!

Check this out! I just bought a 2015 squier dimension bass. I tear every bass I get apart just to see how it works, to my surprise this "special designed" pickup that fender made for these is literally 2 jazz bass pickup with a plastic cover..it's 2 separate wound pickups...maybe a 50s...

Whats the switch do on this one? On my 310 it taps the double coil into a single..but there's no double coil on yours?
