Yes, definitely; the difference between lead-free solder and the old stuff that still came with lead is very noticeable. I'm very glad I kept some of that old stuff around for critical audio jobs, since it is now damn near impossible to find anything other than lead-free solder in this country...

I've always liked the way those BTB's looked, both the single cuts and the more modern double cuts. Love the zero fret! A while ago they even offered a 7 string. Seven strings, for Pete's sake:wideyed:

I can't believe it! He was a guitar legend all of his life, pretty much right from the beginning. Tremendous skills and technique. And he seemed like a great down-to-earth kinda guy in every interview he gave. My deepest condolences and thoughts are with his family, Rest in Peace my friend.
