Some people are just not very considerate of others. Why is beyond me, but even if we understand why, we are not well placed to help. That's for the professionals. Frustrating though it is.

Passive aggressivity seems to be the norm now. I had it twice with musicians I played with, the last couple of years. Sadly I gave up tryin g to find other people to play with. My computer never does this to me.

Not read everything so i apologise in advance if it has been said, but did the op discuss bringing in new person with everybody else beforehand? If not, i would quit because obviously the communication is not there, and it all just gets worse.

Comes down to the neck. The rest is in your fingers and all the knob twiddling. I just don't get on with the jb neck for some reason, even tho my hands are small.

Call me a pessimist but when i retired i thought, great now i can find a band and play out once in a while. However, there is no grass. At a certain age the tolerance and energy available for meeting and nurturing new relationships is gone. Sorry but i and a few friends too, have just given up...

L and M is hit or miss. The Ottawa store is in a terrible spot, although I have never missed the turn! Kanata had more stuff I wanted over the last while though. As for health care, the American going on about how private is so much better because it encourages healthy lifestyles ought to check...

Same experience here, only I quit after 6 months: they wouldn't have band meetings to discuss anything (at least with me), so that was a clue. I am older than them, way more "successful" (whatever that means) etc. I even tried to give the drummer a set of drums I inherited from a neighbour, but...
