I prefer the knobs on top of the cab, rather than the front face. Whether I'm sitting down practising at home, or standing uprehearsing with the band, I am always taller than the cab and looking down onto it.

I haven't found a favourite setting yet....it always sounds great to me! I like everything at noon, with both the Vintage and Contour pushed in at the same time. Also like Bass between 1:00 and 2:00 / Low Mid Noon / Hi Mid 10:00 / Treble Noon. But honestly can't go wrong on any setting

My squier mustang is the same. It is a satin finish, it looks and feels as though there isnt a finish on it, but its fine

I would buy the most powerful you can. The 500 would be my bet for a band, it should hold up ok against a drummer; But if I couldn't afford the 500, I'd go the next most powerful one.

I have the Squier Mustang. Fantastic value and big fat tone. You really can't go wrong at that price.

I just stick mine in a normal bass gig bag. Its a little short, but still perfectly protected.
