Really, the quantum seems as though the 24th fret has very easy access, compared with the spector, but i have no way of trying a modulus here in Australia so i can only judge by looks. I could get my local music store to order the alex webster sig as they can order spectors, so i might try one...

Im tossing up between this and a modulus, the only thing i dont really like bout the spector is the difficulty to access the very highest frets, and the thick neck, but seeing as this one will have a slim neck i could once again have a gas battle on my hands:p

i have the sr 705 with mk1 and 45-128 strings, i've settled at about 1 cm clearance, maybe a little bit more, because any less and fret buzz becomes an issue, and higher makes playing more difficult for me.

This sounds like a good idea, problem is i dont really know anyone personally on TB or from the usa, and dont know anyone that would be willing to buy it then sell it again, seeing as how beautiful of a bass it is :D Maybe if someone would potentially be interested in doing this let me know :p

I want to order one, but i live in australia, and there isnt a modulus dealer anywhere near where i live. Thanks Chris, I'll just keep looking around and on ebay until i find this exact one, seriously never gassed this much before!

I dream of having this bass, hopefully sooner rather than later. Anyone know if its possible to find one with the same exact colour finish(velvet black cherry i think), hardware and electronics?
