I love the amount of arguing in this thread :p Anyhow without Leo, the bass wouldn't be a good sounding instrument in my opinion. I hate(like) other brands but Fender is good for almost every style of music. But it's all about personal preference, play whatever brand of bass sounds and feels...

I can't count how much G strings I've broken popping 16th notes,:D:hiding: until I got some DR strings. Slapping and popping won't damage your bass. If your going to do it often, DR Hi-Beams are the ideal strings I think.:p
