I have searched TB and the webs but haven't seen my issue addressed: I'm wanting to replace the wimpy little tuners on a Chinese-made Squier Jazz neck w/the larger, cloverleaf units. The new(to this bass- they're used but in decent condition)tuners have the typical Fender 11/16" bushings, so...

Man, this is the one thread that may keep me here. The 456 has a mystery creak that may have gotten fixed last night- whilst swapping pedals w/the Gemini, I found the SS's were not super-tight, AND seemed to emit the *mystery sound* as I broke them loose... Was too beered-up to test ride, maybe...

Not sure this has been mentioned- but most people think of what we call a bass as a guitar

At home, yes. Outside that, no- not for my own feelings(I don't care)but so as not to gross others out. There's a LOT I don't share here :)
