BTW: the ghs flats were 45 - 105. The extra girth seems to really help with the floppiness of the short scale. The only short scale strings in this series were 40 - 100

As for strings, I used GHS precision flats and cut them all off to fit. Just noticed that they were a 38” wind set ( all they had at the local shop)! So far, so good and it’s been 2 months

Hello fellow bassman! A quick ( I hope!) technical question: I have a bassman 150. If I put headphones in the headphone jack, and unplug the speaker ( which needs to be done to use the headphones ) will a signal still go to the di out and thus to a sound board?

Yes! It’s already off. The pic is from before I decided to keep it! I’ve also replaced the strings with GHS precision flats.
