I'd also have to say that Ray Shulman of Gentle Giant doesn't get nearly enough credit.

Would a Status Graphite neck fit on a Jazz Bass replica, like an SX or Lakland? I figured if I get an SX, I might want to upgrade the neck eventually with a Status one. How would it likely sound? More bright or more warm? Thanks so much.

Ignoring the poor quality of their punk rods, how is the rest of their stuff? I haven't heard anything about their touch guitars, travel guitars, or regular basses and guitars yet. I know they recycle wood though to make all their stuff though.

Does Trey Gunn ever use a normal bass? Or does he only play Warr Guitar? Anyway, I love his work with King Crimson. I always thought he was overshadowed by Tony Levin way too much (Levin is way better than Gunn.)
