Richest bassist?

Maybe take a listen to Sgt. Pepper's and Abbey Road.... and see. Lots a memorable bass on those discs.....
I'd say everything McCartney did bass-wise from Rubber Soul on was memorable. I consider him one of the best bassist in pop music.
So what exactly is a bassist if not someone who plays bass?
There is of course that.
When I say " I never thought of mccartney as a bassplayer " I mean that to me he was always a songwriter who happened to play some bass.
That's the best explaination I can come up with at the moment.
I have listened to the beatles a lot, and whilst I like the songs( or at least some of them) the bass playing never stood out to me.
It always fits the music which is the main thing, but the playing or tone or lines to me sound utilitarian rather than inspired.
Some of the songs I think are fantastic tho.
To me the beatles are one of the best examples for the sum being much greater than its' component parts.
To each their own but I always found McCartney's lines to be quite inspiring. The following come to mind as particular favorites.

Paul McCartney should be #1 no problem....... but here's another wealthy 4 stringer... Gene Simmons and I heard rumors that Michael Anthony was very wise with his investments...
Difficult to find info on anyone other than british musicians but what I have found so far is that Paul is worth £725m and Sting is on £185m.
Differences betwen them is that Trudie likes to spend Gordon's money and Macca is world famous for being a tighta$$. You could pour boiling water down his throat and he'd whizz ice cubes allegedly

LOL!! Well with all due respect to Trudie, I doubt she has spent the entire difference.
He has a large stake in Jack Daniels and owns many collectible Tobasco sauce bottles. He also put a good bit of money into that company that makes yellow pants for husky men.
