Ken Smith Rock Masters works best for me on my Warwick Corvette and thumb basses. Been using for over 10 years. Last for about 2 months even after heavy gigging so not too bad.

Just curious here being fairly new to Wal basses what kind of string do some of you prefer on these basses? Gauge size, brand, stainless or nickel? I know its mainly what sounds good to your ears but was just seeing what other people thought on string selection for there basses. Thanks!

Yes I will put some up soon....It is a 96 MK3 5string with Shedua facings it is my first one took 12 years to find one! I got lucky on craigslist (of all places) after years of outbids on ebay but I love it. thanks for the help by the way! I will keep in touch how the adjustments go.
