Just fishing to see if anyone has actually used the 8in/8out interface mode (if it exists)

In this product video it says it can do 8in/8out as an interface at 44.1khz. Which is awesome, but i can't find anywhere else that will confirm this information... including you guys. it's at 2:25!

Does anybody use the Zoom R16 as an interface? Is it possible to record eight tracks simultaneously onto the computer with each track being separate?

This is good if your recording by yourself or recording jams or live bands. I got a great recording just by plugging into the stereo outs of the FOH sound for the evening. The next step is going to a DAW with more simultaneous recording tracks... which you might want to just go with all together.

My experience: If you just play your markbass with the knobs flat, stick with it. But if you like to crank up the mids like i do, it does sound better on an ampeg.

i would say my budget for both mics is 300 at most.

Ive been recording jams and live shows with my Tascam DP-008 (two inputs at a time) I'm interested in getting a couple good microphones to set up and use instead of the onboard mics. Does anyone have a suggestion for good mics for setting up and getting a good room sound?

thread revival: Is there any chemical that will age the white prematurely?

Do any of you folks intentionally age your white finished basses to look more yellow? I didn't notice any apparent difference in contours when i switched to the '62. I didn't do a close comparison though.
