if i was in the market for a new modulus build, i'd go straight to joe perman. afaik, he still has an online presence on insta and facebook. and, he's the builder/creator. the buck stops with him, basically. i won't comment on the happenings of "modulus graphite version 3.0" (post bankruptcy)...

i have the spacing on my fretted ones at 3mm between the top of the 12th fret and the bottom of the 'b' string. ouch, sounds like the one at g.c. is over 9mm. and no travel on the truss rod? were the bridge saddles bottomed out? sounds like it needs to take a trip to mr. dorsch for some tlc.

I have a bass with a neck pocket that's 77.7mm at its widest point. Trying to fit a neck into the pocket that's 78.7mm at its widest point. What is the "easiest" way to widen the neck pocket to accommodate the new neck? Various grits of sandpaper? Dremel? Don't really have access to a lot of...

iirc, geoff mentioned that it'd be rather cost-prohibitive to make a neck-thru ggi-5. probably talking about near-to-over $10k. maybe if enough players showed true interest in having them built, then geoff and crew would consider that option. it would be interesting to see how many tbx...

the bodies are from modulus quantum 5's. i like the balance of the modulus bodies combined with the gould maple neck. yeah, a little blasphemous but, hey, didn't stop dr. frankenstein... :)

kinda sorta... turned out pretty good. wasn't a fan of the single pickup so adding options in the bass and treble position worked wonders. i tend to lean heavily with the middle/bridge pickups (EMG 40P5's) wired volume/volume/volume/stacked bass-treble (EMG BTC Control) in regards to other...
