I wax my 'Wick every few months or when it looks like it really needs it(if I've been playing a lot under strong stage lights for example). Not sure about twice a month...... don't really have the time for such Mr Miyagi type dedication to the wax.

Yikes what a massive(if not completely unexpected) letdown this bass appears to be. It looks like the kind of bass I would have sitting around in the toilet if I was having an extended "session" in there....... But I don't have enough money for toilet basses, so I won't buy it. Sorry Flea...

I've got a bass thats made of afzelia and it sounds good, but until I read this thread I thought padouk was a type of Greek cheese so I'm unable to offer any meaningful comparison, which is probably what this thread is about.
