Alright. My mistake. The bass is L2000E from 1981 which to my knowledge has a single coil option onboard. Middle switch towards neck. Am I wrong?

Actually Im in Poland now where I came from. Krakow city. It was made here.

Two months ago I took my L2000 1981 year for a refreting. Frets were dead and the wood was crying because of bruises strings made on fingerboard. I ordered Ferd Wagner steel frets with similar to original size. Asked also for nitro laquer. Thats the results of luthier's work:

MXR M80-->B3K played with pick and G&L L2000 on Mesa d180. Best results. Gain and blend on both at around 50%. Crunchy, ballsy distortion.
