    Hiromi Uehara CD recommendations?

Ive found all her stuff to be pretty awesome. She has some very electric sounding stuff (moreso than Binary even). The first bass player with her out of Berklee was Mitch Cohn. He's great (Waking Vision Trio) but I wouldn't call it 'prog.'

    Korn's Feildy

He did create a very recognizable sound. His sound fit well with Korn, where he was fighting back tonal encroachment against two, chugging 7-strings. There was an interview with him, probably an episode of Behind the Music, where he was talking about all the people that send him demo tapes. He...

    solar power amp/cabinet combo... feasible?

Plenty of companies already make small combos for busking, street venues, coffee houses etc. These are typically battery powered. If your house has panels, wait for a day when you've got a surplus or are feeding back onto the grid and charge it up. If you're starting from scratch, you'll...

    1x12 , 2x8 , 1xtweeter...ladies and germs...

With the amount of detail paid to mechanical coherence between the drivers in the cabinet and cooperation with the crossover, etc., I guess the ability to biamp (with something like a stereo head with variable crossover) would be less than optimal and excluded?

    Just opened up my 210MBE...

I think there is a point of diminishing returns and eventual negative impact when lining a cabinet. A number of years back, and I don't know if more recent data has overruled this, the easiest way to picture cabinet lining was like a free volume (displacement) increase. Lining the cabinet...
