    Yup. I had a Japanese one and was constantly fiddling with the neck relief. The truss rod finally bottomed out one day, and that was my cue to be done with the thing.

    If you can find a fender pawn shop mustang at a reasonable price, that thing is the thickest, nastiest bass I’ve ever played (in a good way).

    I love mine. It’s the only bass I own anymore, and I’m not getting rid of it. It’s on par with (and in some ways better than) any stingray I’ve owned.

    This will work, but it doesn’t last long. They go dead again pretty quick and you’ll have to repeat the process.

    They’re flats so they’re going to last you a long while if you like them. Id save up and get what you really want, and something you know will fit.

    Man, some cool stuff was recorded on ADAT, but like the others said: the machines that aren’t completely trashed just aren’t worth it anymore.

    Man, I think this is pretty accurate. The guy just oozes personality. He’s the ultimate bass-playing frontman to me. I’m a big fan of the storytelling songwriting too. There’s no politics, agendas, weird cryptic messages... just life.
