Bought one of these second hand pretty cheap on an off chance and love it. It is my first compressor so I don’t have any experience or comparison, but I really like the qualities this adds. I am just running into headphones through an Ampeg SCR-DI and it makes the direct sound a lot more “amp”...

My Epi Thunderbird has a noticeable hum when I touch the strings or bridge which seems to go when I touch the metal part of my lead that's in the input jack. I don't know much about electronics but I'm guessing it's a grounding or shielding issue and I would like to get this fixed asap...
