Where you "drafted" to play bass or enlist ?
I've always been attracted to the "low end." Started out in school band (4th or 5th grade) with trombone, then went to bass trombone and tuba. I even have a bass trumpet! When it came to doing rock & roll, the choice was obvious...- cjj

Preamp + power amp club?
Stereo (neck & bridge pickups separate) to SansAmp RPMs, one for each pickup. Then to the Rane DC24 stereo compressor. After that the Lexicon MX200 stereo effects for a little reverb. Then to the Rane AC22B Stereo crossover to get high & low channels for each pickup. Highs are mixed, and lows...- cjj

Help! Can't find comfortable strap
As capnjim said, it's about weight distribution. I make my own straps out of a "roper cinch" which is the strap that goes under a horse's belly to hold a saddle on. Works great, though some might feel it's a bit more suited to Country & Western players (which I most definitely am NOT)...- cjj
