LOL, you have now! I'm not saying they're not a great band...just not my thing. I never was into that type of music, as when they became popular, I was already deep into the punk scene. Different times.

Funny you said picks. I went to a festival in Japan in 2018, and there was an ESP booth that had tons of picks, I ended up buying 15 or 20, all musician signature. Was nice for me as a newbie player, to try different types

I'm sure I could learn to read music, but for me, what's the point? Lol!!

It's all tabs, which for me is fine, since I'm not looking to be in a band or anything... I just play for fun. The site says 500k songs... I've found some pretty obscure songs... Not every day you find the tabs for a Maximum The Hormone song.

Doubt that's possible.

I'm sure the show I'm supposed to be going to in April, will be postponed, since the KC show has. Not super upset, we saw the band last year, but at this rate, I doubt I'll go to any shows

Thin C from Schecter.... but considering I'm a newbie player and have only played Schecter... no clue! Though I like my new shortie... so much easier to play.

For me, it's Dir en Grey, a Japanese metal band, that really defies genre. If you're into heavy sounds, freaky lyrics and singers that have a huge range, I highly recommend them. If I had to chose a Western Band, I don't think I could. I could name bands I like in a specific genre...but...

LOL!! So true! But the same could be said about Motorhead! Lemmy was a bass god... I was lucky enough to see Motorhead twice, and they were absolutely, hands down the loudest band I've ever heard.
