On one hand you have old Chicago, gritty yet classy, simple yet complicated. Then you have new Chicago, which is basically love ballads and pop hits.Chicago. Seriously, who doesnt like Chicago?![]()
As first "Argent" and "In Deep", "The BBC Concert" and the "Live at Don Kirshner's*" movie is an absolute must. There is some pretty outstanding Rod Argent and other band members recordings as well ... ;-)I'm not a KISS fan by any means, I just noticed the song in your post because I referenced Bill and Ted's Bogus Adventure "Wyld Stallyns" which has this song in the credits. One of the better songs KISS has done IMO, but they also didn't write it....
Glad you posted it, I have some Argent Discography to explore now...feel free to recommend anything that's a must listen.
When Elvis left the building...
he joined a plutonium rockband!

Disaster Area

I never did. Any era. The only outfits from that horn band fad era that I could deal with were Electric Flag, Sons Of Champlin(and yes, I know Bill Champlin later joined Chicago), and the Buddy Miles Express, ‘cause after the Stax stuff, everybody else was just pretending.Chicago. Seriously, who doesnt like Chicago?![]()
If you take a look around the local universities you might think everyone loves The Ramones, but ask them which song is their preferred one & you'll get blank stares.
