    Rickenbacker 4003

Yes, RIC, please listen to random knuckle-draggers on the internet on how to manage your 82 year old business. You don't seem to be doing a very good job...

    GC carrying Ricks again?!?

Man you oughta read up on that whole deal. GC was selling Ricks without warranty cards, charging separately for cases, etc. I hope they have ironed that whole thing out because it was getting ridiculous about ten years ago. I had one GC employee tell me that they sent the cases to one warehouse...

SOLD 2008 Rickenbacker 4003 JetGlo - Players edition

Wow, that's one from after they switched from the poured inlays and just before they started doing the full width inlays again. Not many of those out there, a rare bird indeed...

    Why Rickenbackers are so expensive?

Easy there, Adolf... And whoever said there is a two year wait for a 4003 obviously hasn't invested the 30 seconds to Google it or else they would see tons of them all ready to ship now.

*Official* MF MID Rickenbacker Sale thread

Hmmm, that might be an easy one to explain. If you go back over posts regarding the finish on other Rick sites, you will see that they switched from conversion varnish (which yellows) to a non yellowing UV cured polyester finish around a year ago. My guess is that the ones that are yellowing...

Greco Ric Copy - Bite or No?

lol, brilliant. Why don't you guys just email the links to these auctions directly to RIC for them to shut down? btw this is trademark, not copyright. Trademark includes shapes and designs of products. Copyright is for printed material and media stuff.

Confused about the so-called "Rickenbacker back-log" Could someone please explain?

This was the case a few years ago apparently, but now it seems that a lot of stores have them in stock. Wildwood Guitars, Chicago Music Exchange, Lightning Joe's, and even Musician's Friend seem to have plenty of inventory. I was pleasantly surprised when I did a Google "shopping" search and...

If he's just building it for himself and doesn't sell it, there ain't a dang thing they can do about it!

    Rickenbacker copy

You're really gonna compare these guys to MM and Peavey!? These aren't a proven commodity, wake up! 1. I wasn't talking about the tone so much as the aesthetics, thanks for clarifying my point. It looks like some sharpied all over the fretboard. So much so, it looks like an entirely...

    Rickenbacker copy

I dunno, after looking at these pics closely, they really do look pretty cheap (but that's the point, right?) I mean, the rosewood used for the fingerboards is awfully dark. Every Rick I've ever seen has a light reddish rosewood fingerboard. Heck, I thought they were ebony until I read the...

    Rickenbacker-New but damaged, keep it?

To the OP, Wildwood has like five 4003 JG's in stock. They're all pictured on their website. Would be kind of hard for them to say "oh well, no, we never looked at them when we took these pictures!" They have A LOT of Ricks in stock too...

Ric style scratchbuild (a work in progress thread)

I'm just saying you had an option to buy a 325 bass for $3499 over the weekend under the Jazzmaster. I got confused because you had posted that they were for "personal" use only, then suddenly a tab to get one appeared on your order page. I know this because I checked to see if it was possible...
