Is the from of the unit flat or curved? If flat can you mount the screws through the rails and then mount the furman then use nylocks on the back. Need more space use washers between rail and unit to extent is further back. No ideal but a solution

The problem with the exp. Pedal way is that then I need to buy 2 pedal when one would suffice. What I'm really looking for is something like this but again foot controlled
