Thanks, I'll have to check my gain setting. Our practice room isn't well lit in the corner they stick me so maybe that knob got moved. The amp is pretty new, only have had it a few months so I do hope it is user error rather than a malfunction.

I want to hear from others. My first thought is to stack 'em as my sound does carry and I won't have an amp in front of our lead singer who seems to get quite irritated at times in what I do. That is more to the point that he is not a very good rhythm guitarist and often forgets the lyrics... :D

Me too. The 500c is quite a bit lighter than my BA-115 and I like the sound of the 210 better than the 115. My bandmates have noticed the difference as well and commented favorably on it. I use "Nature Sounds" on Alexa. Prefer the wind sound, but they have rain, thunderstorms, surf, trains etc.

P-Basses for me. Played one years ago, didn't like the neck and it was heavy as hell. If I ever wanted to get rid of a rival bass player, I'd strap him to his P-Bass and drop him off the side of the boat. Body would never come back up. :D

Back in my 20s we would come out of our practice with our ears ringing. Back then, though, the ringing would eventually stop. :D

I transferred over to playing bass from guitar after I had an accident with a power tool that reduced the flexibility in my fingering hand. Got a bonus, though, going with a 4 string bass means it takes me only 2/3s the time to tune it versus my old Stratocaster. :D

I liked the sound of my Rumble 500 combo that I purchased the matching 210 cabinet to pair with it for bigger venues. My bandmates really like the sound of the 500, much more than my BA-115.

Y'all can add me to the club. Ordered the Rumble 500 combo yesterday. Will be ordering a cab soon, want to hear it at practice a bit first. Probably will add the 115 cab coming from a guy who has always played 15s. Old dog, new tricks I guess.
