If it were mine (yes i'm jealous) I would have an airbush artist match the pick guard to the finish, or leave it clear. it is just too darn sexy the way it is.

I lack the experience to offer any assistance, but that tune is great! I just got yelled at by my boss for cranking it up too loud and dancing in the isle.:D

ok, that's what I thought. It looks to be the only direct replacement for the mk1 is the MK4CBC. How did your bass sound after the re-route?

Which EMG's are the same dimensions as the MK1's?

I have watched them many times, does not help me suck less. It is all Victor, his bass is just the icing.

What pickups are on the market that are the same size\shape as the mk1's? I'm wanting to swap them out on my Ibanez SR500 in a few months, but am uncertain what will fit. and sorry for bringing up an old thread, it seemed to me the better choice than make a new one.

yes, I have 40-90 mph brushless electric cars and trucks. Yes, the real 40-90 not scale. I only drive a few of them though, so i am going to get rid of a few that just collect dust.
