I love the black body maple fretboard look especially the P Bass shaped ones. A few great examples of those in this thread. Makes me want to get a P bass now..... black with maple fretboard of course drool

I too would like to hear the answer to that one. I struggle to even speak to someone while playing bass let alone sing. Don't remember it being so difficult when I was dabbling with guitar?

Has anyone noticed their BB signal is quite hot? Not a complaint just an observation but my passive BB414 seems to put out a hotter signal than my active Ibanez SR1206. It might be that the strings are set closer to the pickups just seeing if anyone else has noticed this.

I know right, now I'm finding myself having thoughts about what my ibanez might sound like with em :help:

Todays the day :hyper: Got the M900 head about 2 weeks ago but have been waiting on my RS210 cab to come in. Today I picked it up and have been playing with it all night. Sounds awesome :bassist:

Cheers guys. Its a real pity Ernie ball doesn't do a flat wound high C. I'm loving their Slinky Roundwound at the moment but was pretty keen on trying the cobalt flats. I may have to look for another brands flat wound high C if they exist or just stick with the round wounds.

Hi guys. As far as I can tell there is no 6 string set of cobalt flats and the lightest gauge single string I can find is .040. In the Earnie Ball round wound 6 string sets the high C is .032. Would I be ok to use a single .040 for the high C and the get a .45-130 5 string set?

Heard a lot of good things about them and I like the idea of a modular vertical stack arrangement :thumbsup:

Thanks a lot guys I think I have my head around it all. One music store in my city has the M900 but they don't have the RS cabs in stock so have to order one in. I'm thinking i'll go the RS210 initially.
