I started with a MAG 600 (non evo) some seven years ago, and after a hiatus from live playing assembled my new rig. Ashdown ABM900 and 2 4x10's. Love the 'Ashdown' sound, and the MAG still serves practice duty and rides to the gigs as a backup.

A quick update: Back in May I scored a Class Axe era Warlock (with hard case) on eBay for a great price. I put in some Fender P-Bass pickups (also a super bargain on eBay) and cut the wire to the tone pot. The tone pot was shot, and I always play 'full on' anyway so it was a quick fix. Well...

There are some beauties on this thread for sure. Here are my two 'gigging basses' the Fender P is probably my best friend, love it, and the Warlock is a cheap-o that's in the process of being hot-rodded.

Thanks everyone. I should have been more specific, it's a passive Warlock with P-bass pickups only. Will look into some of the suggestions offered here. I play with my mids up on my amp, so something more mid-heavy would be right up my alley. Thanks.
