I have fixed a few amps by resoldering any suspect spots. UNPLUG POWER, turn on, strum your instrument a bit, let it sit a few, then go to work. Esd safe iron, etc. and a magnifier. Jacks esp headphones resolder every pin. Check every fuse.
I would solder a 22pf cap across the amps's input jack (tip, sleeve) as a first go. You could also try plugging the amp in to another power outlet, different room, different breaker.
