For whatever reason I've just never liked el34s for bass.

It's my first serious build and I know I probably should have started with something like a fender champ but I've been reading a ton so I feel prepared, and I really wanted this circuit. I got it with kt66s so I could use both guitar and bass.

Pretty excited about this, I ordered it over a month ago it's the weber 6o100 kit(Orange or120 clone). $395 without the cabinet but you gotta have some technical know how because there aren't step by step instructions just a schematic and wiring layout.

But I asked what I could pair the svt 2 pro specifically with, and was told to sell the svt and buy a "better" amp, no one mentioned pairing it with another power amp. Anyways I just thought the whole thing was silly is all.

Quick question fellas, So when I'm playing the ray35 I'm noticing the pickup sounds like it's breaking up or clipping the input stage, even when it's turned down low it makes that fuzzy type of sound so it doesn't seem like it's the gain clipping the input. Any ideas what might be going on?

I just thought it was silly that when I was asking for help for a particular amp that folks kept telling me to sell the amp and get a lightweight class d. I have nothing against class d amps and think some of them sound great. I just wish I would have gotten more replies like yours above...

Lol, on the greenboy forum when I asked for advice on pairing the svt 2 with their cabs I kept getting people saying I should get a real mans amp that could put out more power. Since when is a class d(fit in your pocket size) a mans amp and when did 300watts of svt power become not enough.

I will but I don't have the stuff to do the pickled beaver yet but I think it's pretty cheap for the few extra parts. I made the wah and divided octave before this and I can't recommend the divided octave enough it's such a cool pedal. The original musitronics version goes for like $600 nowadays.

Just about finished this large beaver(ram head specs)but I just realized I put the led in backwards. Anyone have any experience with this guy? Ram head vs triangle vs pickled beaver?

You might be better off putting the tuner 1st in your signal chain so it can mute everything. Then put the grey speck in the second loop. Do you always have the Bluebeard on?

So I was messing around with my signal chain yesterday and decided to try a common production technique. I had my bass running straight into the xotic Xblender(any loop pedal will work) then direct to the amp or tuner. In the blender loop I had my compressor followed by b3k(any dirt pedal...
