i'm not sure can't remember, but the bbc story of indie documentary painted them as too late to the party redemptive ballad oasis ripoffs, which is something i never thought of

Well I for one have a 400 watt tube amp, and a 3000 watt power amp rig.... So yeah a 300 watter is a small amp.

i'm done with that dialogue too, i'm just running the density dry into the 200 watt d180 for the dirty/monitor sound and i'm running the sub channel to the PA for the wall shaking lows

Also the Shepard's End and Supermoon are incredible pedals.
The SM is probably the only reverb I'll ever need. With the sway decay maxed it will basically sustain forever and warp around with random modulations. VERY cool for ambient eerie passages. The modulation is a bit subtle to shine through with a lot of other stuff going on sonically. At least I feel it would be. However, absolutely no low end cut at all and the reverb is very lush sounding and has a lot of depth.
The SE is just wild. It is a barber pole flanger, apparently the only one of its kind. The flange overlaps itself and thus has no start or finish. It can go up or down and drive through the zero point as well. A lot of subtlety within each pots range with more pronounced differences at the center and poles so to speak. It's a crazy box. It can easily emulate a flanger, phaser or chorus. It goes from subtle to lasers as Mr. Black describes. It is also pretty interactive in that faster choppier playing yields a phase like sound and more open playing will let the barber pole out.
I suggest these boxes to those of you that dig modulation effects and reverb.
Also I think I finally tweaked the BDPG to play nice with modulation to not smother the effect or overdrive it when a dirt box is in use before it in the chain.
