I enjoyed it. I can't recall ever seeing anyone dance to Black Sabbath before (at least not in the last 20 years). That's positive feedback in and of itself. :bassist:
I have an MB210 and 210MBE. With the extension cab hooked up and the phase correct (some were wired wrong), it is just more "present". More of the same ( but fuller). However, if fuller with the same amount of grind is wanted, be prepared for more volume. That said, it's kind of nice to be able...
You're welcome. I must add though that the hiss from the horn on my 1st and 2nd (replacement) 210MBE was way louder than on the MB210. Not sure why, I would have thought they would sound the same but that is definitely not the case with the two I heard.

I can confirm that is NOT correct. There is a significant difference in volume and jump in overall audible goodness when adding a 210MBE to an MB210 (when wired correctly). Only thing bad about adding the 210MBE is that I can't push the amp as much (for tone) without getting too loud in my...
+1 to that. I am really sick of going to shows and know they are playing great music, but only feeling the bass without really being able to hear it or anything else. Too much emphasis on how much air they can move without caring what that air is sounding like.
Hi,
I experienced a rattle in my 210MBE, but not in my MB210. Sent the 210MBE back to get replaced (hissy tweeter and peeling serial tag as well). It could be something as simple as a wire touching the speaker cage. That was the case with my Ampeg BA115HP years ago: easy fix (taped the wire...
I just my 210MBE today from Music 123 (yea!). Playing it with the MB210, the two together did not sound as good as the MB210 alone. Not sure if that's because the MB210 is broken in and the 210MBE is not, or what(I've had the MB210 since late Feb or March). The volume knob on the bass did seem...
For the last five years, Quality Engineer for an analytical instrumentation company. Prior to that, 15 years as a Mechanical Design Engineer for same. But music is my real passion in life. Now that I've written that, what the hell am I am doing?!?!
I went from an Ampeg BA115HP to the MB210 myself. Mostly for weight (tired of denting my car with the Ampeg), but I'm really enjoying the tone of the GK too. Both are great amps, but the GK is much easier to live with. And it's nice to have something new to play with. Haven't jammed with the...
I've found that my amps never sound as good through the headphone jack as through the speaker (bass guitar or guitar amps). It does allow you to play without annoying others late at night, but it is not near as satisfying as playing through the whole shebang.
I've loved having and using my H4 for practices, gigs, and just trying to remember stuff I came up with. The new H4n piqued my interest for the new features you described. Maybe I'll get that one if my old one craps out. Recording has helped me/us out alot.
Ok, has anyone else noticed themselves reading Talkbass way more than practicing? I sure have lately. Damn, it's just so much more entertaining sometimes. If I could just turn on instead of log on...
