I just installed this set on an Affinity Precision PJ. Obviously the rest of the bass is still what it is, but man, it sounds pretty much perfect. Strings are 50-105 Chromes. Grand total $400. Spent a few days slowly getting the setup right. I love it.

You haven't really provided any information. How low is your bass when you play? This might simply be a matter of adjusting your strap -- or something more serious that requires seeing a doctor.

I had the volume mod done on my SB4 (which is the Sterling model, not the Stringray). This is a must-have.... the volume knob is finally useful!

I have this combo, and it kills. Band is pretty loud, and I have no trouble putting everyone in their place when needed.
