All good tuners mentioned and I’ve used - I think - all of them. However...StroboStomp HD by far takes them all. Every day of the week, hour of the day, etc, in every category (unless you absolutely need a headstock tuner or a smaller pedal footprint). Done.

Received mine a couple weeks ago and haven’t had time to mess with it. Hope to this week. So the consensus is that if all I want to do is use the AGL preamp and AGL cab sim, then keep the original 1.2.7 firmware, and the software should connect in windows to allow me to make those two changes...

I’ve picked up 9ne of these and have been trying it on my weekly board. I like the sound, but my FOH guy tells me that this pedal is short on signal level, requiring a lot of make-up gain at the board, introducing noise on the channel. Anybody else experiencing this?

I’m a tuner junkie. Headstock tuners, pedal tuners. Snarks, TC, Korg, Boss, you name it. On 5 string basses, the StroboStompHD pedal slays them all - options, tracking, display, true bypass/buffer, you name it. Done.

I rarely post much, however, as a life-long customer ($$$$) of Sweetwater, I can only say that while no company is perfect, if you give them a chance to make it right after making your issue known, they will.

The MTG sat in the mix really well at the 8 o’clock “clean” gain level and FOH guy loved it. Plenty of room to crank it up if you’re looking for that. Definitely a winner. Exactly as I’d hoped to warm things up on a solid-state preamp DI going direct.
