Yes, I saw the booth when I was there a few years ago. And the pics Joe sent me of the progress on my instrument were in the booth, which I doubt he would have those pictures if they outsourced finishing.

Sadly, I don't think these are available anymore. Someone gave me a set a few years ago with a bass I bought. I put them on my G.Gould and loved them! I just went looking for a new set and, well, I didn't find a new set. However, thanks to this thread, I'll be trying the La Bella Super Steps.

It's a new build. Order was placed at the end of June, 2021. There have been some manufacturing setbacks along the way that were out of Joe's hands, but I think mine was placed on the back burner due to the custom nature of it. I'm suspecting more and more that the orders that were placed...

Yeah, the end of this month will be the 4 year mark on my 14 month build. There are some murmurs of progress, but I won't believe it until the bass is in my hands.

I've got a G.Gould with the Big Blades in it, but I'd be curious about the Poly Vox for that bass as well. Just to clarify, I LOVE the Big Blades on that instrument. I"m just always ready to try new things too.
