A friend of mine had a few of Stu Hamm's Fender prototypes in his shop recently. I had the chance to plunk out a few notes on them. Those were sweet basses.
I have a Babicz on my Precision and I absolutely love it. Changing bridges was painless. Setup took a bit of time, but it's been locked down for well over a year now and the intonation is still great.
Xenos, do you know where your wife bought that headless bass? And is it a set neck or a bolt-on?

I have a P/J Charvel from the 90s...got it for a song, and it plays great, but I want to upgrade the pickups in it. The J pickup is pretty weak and thin.
