I saw this a couple days back:

42 yr old guitarist/singer with 30yrs playing experience, looking to recreate the vibe of BAND OF GYPSYS and early SABBATH with the right drummer and bassist. Not a tribute band...just want to jam with people my age who dig the loose "Kind Of Blue" feel that those records have. Not looking to play shows. May be into doing a record down the road. I have tons of original material. Extensive knowledge of the original STAR WARS trilogy is a plus.
I am sober and I would prefer to jam with the same.......shoot me an email if this idea sounds cool .

So who is actually in this band? Is this a Robot ad, because they need every instrument and apparently have none currently.

You want thunder? I got thunder. This is an excellent rig but I gotta tell you...

If you're one of those smooth cats that wears their bass way up high and throws down the sickest grooves since James Jamerson, I love you brother, but this rig aint for you.

Jazz guys...this rig doesn't do smooth, spacey, chill, or groovy.

Christian rockers...ummm...yeah. ok.

Now if you're the guy who can't remember the last time he washed his hair and you just got done pounding 10 cans of Old Milwaukee and rub bin your junk all over some skank's ass crack even after she told you she had herpes and now you're on your way to the stage of some **** dive like the Star Bar to open for Dixie Witch or Red Fang...you might wanna come check this thing out.

It growls. Loudly. And that's all it does. No concept of subtlety, dynamics, texture, or nuance, just loud as the apocalypse and twice as ugly, all day, every day.

I'm too old to rock this **** anymore. Its kinda sad really. It needs someone younger to spill beer on it while slaying ass and dropping panties.

Dumb in my opinion. At best the only way to really make it a decent instrument, if that is even possible, is to finish the mod which looks all hacked to hell or "make those holes disappear" which means refinishing it with a solid finish. Either way the value in the instrument has been destroyed. It hasn't been taken care of and who knows what other hack jobs have been performed on it. Maybe he'll get lucky but I wouldn't take that thing unless it was free. The seller can hype it all they want but that bass doesn't have any mojo.
