Dumb CL Ad's pt 5, Dumbester and Dumberest

There are a couple of amp casters laying loose in the chassis by the transformer

Along with a bunch of other metal odds and ends and doohickeys. I picked up a working B2 a while back, with no casters or other random loose parts inside the chassis for $200. Maybe I could dump the contents of my kitchen junk drawer into the chassis of my broken SWR Working Man head and work out a trade with this guy :)

Come get me out of my hotel room, please. I can't spell, but I can drummmm. (not sure if this is a real ad or a spoof)

Attn: New York Musician/Singer perform in New York's biggest mansion!

My company is partnering with a large New York Real-estate developer who owns New York's largest mansion it is a 10 million dollar estate! His vision is to rent out this mansion for music events. Our company organizes large scale showcases where local musicians/singers can perform in this mansion. We offer musicians/singers 3 major benefits:

*The opportunity to perform in New York's largest mansion a 10 million dollar estate! The developer we are working with also owns other estates through out New York and nationwide as well. You will have the opportunity to perform at all of these multi million dollar estates. Why is this important? When a music industry executive sees you perform in a crummy bar with few people in the audience they will not take you seriously no matter how talented you are. Music is a business and every time you perform you are advertising your brand. The question is do you want to advertise your brand in a crummy bar with no one there or a 10 million dollar mansion with a sold out crowd? As we grow we are also interested in renting out famous concert halls, broadway theaters etc. in New York and you will also have the chance to perform there as well.

*We will always have a guaranteed large audience because we invite so many people to attend our events such as other local performers, business sponsors, press, music industry executives, A&R's, program director's and other guests. This is an amazing networking opportunity to meet many important people in the music industry and promote your music in a large way! You can even sell your CD's live at the event! We are also interested in hiring major celebrities to attend our events.

*It is not required but If you have an entrepreneur business mind we also have a way for you to make a large monthly income just to refer other musicians/singers into our network. You do not need to know a lot of musicians/singers we will show you how easy it is to find musicians/singers online. You do not have to sell anyone or even talk to anyone we do all of that for you. You will make money every month just to generate leads for our network, it is that simple. If you see the big picture of our network you will realize there is no other opportunity for local musicians/singers out there like this and our network can grow very big and you can benefit big time!

To join our network there is a small fee of $30 per month but there is no contracts. You can participate for 1 month or every month the choice is yours. I understand many musicians/singers do not want to pay to play but this is a different situation. This is a 10 million dollar mansion we are talking about with a guaranteed packed audience, this is worth a small $30. You will even enjoy wine and chef prepared hors d'oeuvres as well.

No money is due right now if you are interested all you have to do is reply to this email with "Reserve a spot for me". We need your name, cell phone number or home number and your email to reserve a spot. We will email you a link to the location for your review. Once we have all of the acts and sponsors lined up we will meet in Manhattan to answer all of your questions, discuss dates and at that point the $30 will be due. Our goal is to book the mansion for mid December before Christmas.

This one was up in the Pgh CL as well

Sorry, didn't see this thread when I posted elsewhere last night. But this rig and its "attenuated" speakers deserve another mention. Only $1,200 too!

That is awesome. The best part is the top cab with the Peavey logo blacked out with a marker. Does that grill even belong on that cab? Based on the casters and logo.... which way is up? Suh-Weet. :smug:

Well worth the money methinks. :eyebrow:

 WOW that's ballsy!!

If it weren't such a PITA to find and post pics from this tablet it would be visual LOL time.

Here's a weird one: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]
I don't do mind-altering drugs, so I couldn't figure out the point.

Bonzo Dog Band meets Spinal Tap meets Everything Else (Pittsburgh)

Somewhere between the 60's Dadaist movement, 80's metal pastiche, alternative rock and the golden era of vaudeville. Actually, everything in between there and beyond. Anything from cave people drumming on logs to beatboxing and breakdancing b-boys from Brooklyn. Imagine, if you will, a collaborative effort spanning the entirety of mankind's musical output and compressing into one tight package. Songs begin with a gregorian chant that leads to a techno-funk groove ending with screaming guitars over a gospel choir. Hip-hop beats over Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition. Jazz and orchestral percussion with power chords.

I/We am/are looking for a group of people to both write and record within a range of styles. Instrument of choice need not really matter, and multi-instrumentalists are all the better. In fact, levels of playing skill aren't terribly important either. Sometimes, I find it funnier to listen to a group of people try to play something they have no business playing. Musical comedy where the music makes the joke instead of the lyric, and sometimes vice-versa. Currently our range of instruments include guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, trombone, percussion, vocals. The problem is, there are only two, occasionally three, of us making/writing/covering this stuff. No serious commitment necessary. As a matter of fact, your physical presence isn't even required. File swapping, building on what the last person has done. Gatherings where jam sessions lead to songs. An hour of noise, remixed to something even worse. A chorus of bird song and monkey howls. It's all on the table. It's not about the process, it's about the product, you know?

Think of it as progression by regression. Still unclear? Give these a whirl:
