I would see no reason to continue to tolerate these people. Life is too short. I would make my exit amicable. Sorry, but I can’t help feeling that those guys are kind of missing the point of Christian values.

There are so many great female vocalists, many of them mentioned in this thread. I will vote for the amazing Annie Lennox, who has such a pure, powerful angelic voice, she always thrills me. Would I lie to you?

SWR SM400 through Eden D410XSTs, although my Mesa D800+ sounds fantastic. With the Mesa it was harder to dial in my sound but the controls provide a lot of flexibility so I found it.

After a ton of research I settled on the TC Sub’n’Up. Good tracking, and does octave up, down or both. And not expensive.

Makes sense. I like flats for Motown and the little bit of jazz I play. I most often find myself playing in rock or R&B trios, so like rounds because the additional harmonics seem to fill out the sound more than flats, which sound more fundamental. But that's the idea--each type has its use.

This is what I do. One with flats, the others with rounds. Used according to the situation. Generally I like the brighter tone, and can make it thumpier as needed by where and how I pluck..

In one band, yes, the lead singer can veto songs. If she doesn’t “feel” a song she will let us know and we generally don’t argue. I have on occasion, if she really sounds good on a song she’s not wild about or if I think it would go over well, lobbied for it and she has ended up going with some...

Same h Same here. I saw Freddie with SD 4 times and could never hear him properly. A shame. I could hear he was playing all the parts great but he was buried in the mix. Don’t know why SD mixes the bass that way.
