Nope. With the 800 head I use the 8/4 ohm setting. My post was in response to using the 115 cab even though it is underrated watts wise.

I do it with the 800 rumble head. Fender told me as long as I didn't crank the amp it would be fine. I run a 410 and 115 with my 800 head at half way without issue. Another guy on this forum does it as well. I PM'd him before and he has not blown his either.

I own a nux mg-30 and i'm quite picky on tone. Using the app is a breeze to set up rigs and i love the tones I get from it.

I want to love the VR because it looks so damn cool but every time I've plugged into one I haven't liked it (subjective). I really dig all of the Rockets I've played

Every Sire I've played has been heavy. For me a more valid questions is would it be Squier or Sire. Fender is a whole different thing. You may feel like your Sire is higher quality but its still an import copy of a classic. I want the real deal
