    The official WAY HUGE club!

I think they’re moving everything to the smalls size. I’m sure it’s because they are cheaper to make. They’re all SMD where the older ones are through hole. SMD is cheaper and faster to make and the smaller size requires less materials. That stinks for moderation like me. I’m holding on to my PL...

If you could only own one amp

Aguilar Ton Hammer 700 and 2 SL 112s. PLENTY loud enough. The fridge is not needed (nor can my back take it) these days.

    The official WAY HUGE club!

Hey guys. I’m considering getting a Blue Hippo. Can someone tell me a bit about it? I’m looking for more lush and less metallic sounding. Thanks.

    Pork Loin mod

I built a Pork Loin Clone using a PCB from pedalpcb called the "Lamb Chop." The nice thing is that all the controls were on the top. However, I just love the format of the original too much. I ended up selling it for $70 so I made a little money on it but definitely not worth the time I put into...

    Pork Loin mod

I used a 390pf and feel like I hit the sweet spot. I'm very very happy with it.

I'd like to purchase a P bass and I have several questions.

Learn how to set up a bass properly. Figure out how to properly set the truss rod, string height, nut, and intonation. Also, experiment with different pickups and strings. Passive or active? Flats or rounds? There are a lot of guys who pick up a bass and say, "it doesn't feel right" and have...

    Pork Loin mod

So, I remember when I used 470pf it definitely opened up the pedal A LOT but I still felt like I still wanted a hair more of high end to go through. Well, the Pork & Pickle uses a 220pf cap and I felt like that was too much. It lost the creaminess of the original. So, I'm gonna try something in...

    Pork Loin mod

Okay, I've sold a PL and bought it back 3 times now. It's like a first love you can't get past. I will be buying it again, and modding it again(this time with a 330pf) and keeping her for good.

    Who else hates jamming?

To me, when you're able to just jam is when you've really learned to play an instrument. It's like dancing or singing. When it just flows out of you AND you are in sync with the people around you you've gone beyond just being able to follow music. BUT, you need to know your instrument.

    Is this busy/over-playing? [video]

Nah, it sounded good man. If anything, you could have done a little more. Not saying you didn't do enough though. You did a very solid job. You played the groove which is critical. The danger in being too busy is that you lose the groove of the song. great job!
