    Take it to your local service tech. He'll tell you whats wrong with it. It's not uncommen for an amp that old to need service anyway. ;)

    The new 810s can be split into 2 separet 8ohm cabs. As for the 7pro, you could use it to power 1 810 and simply get a small power amp for the second cab;)

    I don't know why some people think Ampeg has no low end. I used an 8x10 with an SVT 4 and we were tuned to B. That set up would hurt everyone in the rehearsal room. Very low and defined.

    It can handle suprisingly well. I used to use a 4pro mono bridged to 1600watts through my 8x10, and it would make my nose bleed! But I think a ported 8x10 would have been better IMO.

    I agree with Jimmy. Might be a bad tube, orcould be a bad treble pot.

    The CLs are a great amp. But you should really try the 70s SVT.

    Yeah thats what I have been running recently. BDDI into an SVT 300 poweramp. Sounds awsome to me.
