    I love mine. No complaints.

    Marshall 1525 silver cabinet

It's a great cab. I don't know what it's worth though. At one point I thought about selling it because I could use the space, but I'm glad I didn't. I bought mine new back in 1987 and I've had it ever since. I can't remember what I paid for it back then.

    marshall 4x10?

It is a model 1515 with celestion 10" drivers. It is made in Bletchley, England. I believe Marshall intended the 4x10 to sit atop either the 1x15 or 2x15 (Model 1515 or 1525). I have never played the 4x10, but I own the 1525 and it is a great cab, very well constructed. These cab's are rare...

    I think I'll order a Marshall MB450H today..

Thanks for the feedback, gents. I had read about the fan being audible, but hopefully it's not at an annoying level.

    I think I'll order a Marshall MB450H today..

...and stick it on top of my Marshall 1525 cab. I wish I could play through one first, but no one has them in stock. They are special order only. I realize there are other decent options at this price range ($500) but I've never liked mixing brands for some reason. From what I've read from...

    Team Trace Elliot!

Has anyone else experienced poor product support from Peavey, as I have? I own a number of Peavey amps and other gear and have always received great support from Peavey, but with Trace Elliot gear, it's like they are not fully committed to supporting it. My emails go unanswered, phone support...

    How will you setup?

Great feedback, thank you. The other band members typically turn their amps to the side. Either way (facing front or to the side) I think works with the equipment and stage setup, but I am more incline to face cab forward just because I hear everything better. It's better for me, but perhaps...

    How will you setup?

Okay, you're setting up to play in a room that will have 200-300 people. The stage is raised approximately 2 1/2' up and is very spacious. The room is wider than it is deep, so your audience will extend off to the sides beyond the width of the stage. The entire band will be mic'd or running...

    Trace Elliot Question

I recently purchased a T.E. 1210 combo (has 2x10's). Like you, I really like the tone and punch I get out of it. But I wanted more bottom end so I picked up a 1518c extension cab. I spent some time playing and comparing with/without the extension cab while I was at the store, before I made my...

    suggestions PLEASE

Think big picture, or you will end up pouring more money into another amp. Get something that will have the power to handle at least medium sized gigs. That way you have the power if needed in the future.

How do you run to the board....

Sounds like the Audix I-5 is worth checking out. I would like to hear the difference between running direct out (post) and using a good mic. I can swing the $100 for the I-5.

How do you run to the board....

I think I'll give it a try with an SM57 and if I really like it, invest in a better mic for bass frequencies.

    What mic do you use?

How do you run to the board....

That's a good idea. So are you blending both signals at the same time, or just have one or the other ready to go in the event of a problem?
