I'd love to get a hold of a P-bass with the Fender logo. I haven't seen one for sale yet. I do have a MIJ Jazz db62M, and it's quite something. I like it a lot!

What was the Fender version called? The Fender jazz medium scale is called JB62M.

What alternatives to TI flats are there when it comes to low tension strings then? The only thing I don't like about their strings, the ones for short scale is the gauge. I find it weird that G-D-A are quite even, and then there is that much more heavy E-string. I just got a medium scale bass...

Awesome! I've started a hunt now. Danny said that the bass i rare so it might not be possible to get, or it might take time. Hopefully he'll find one for me.

That sounds awesome! Do you know which kind of setup they do on the bass? Do they do extras if you ask them? Such as sanding down, and oiling the back of the neck.
