    Fretboard radius?

For the BB415, I am seeing conflicting information about its radius. On the Yamaha site, it is stated at 23 5/8". (http://usa.yamaha.com/products/musical-instruments/guitars-basses/el-basses/bb/bb415/?mode=model) But on other sites like Amazon and OP's, it is 10" Huge difference, does...

    B2.1u Transpose function (pitch shifter)

My band wants to audition a number of singers and we might have to play the same songs in several keys. Instead of having to learn the songs in several keys which might only get to play once, I am hoping to be able to transpose by just a switch of the button. I have tested the pitch shifter...

Midi controller keyboard and audio interfaces

Hey guys, I am starting to learn about computer music and would need some advice here. I am now looking for a decent Midi controller keyboard and I have kinda zoomed in on the Akai MPK49 as it looks like an all-in-one keyboard with 49keys, drum pads and knobs. I will be using DAWs like...

    My Band Staged A Coup

I hate to say this but I think you better be cautious about this vox and keep him as far away as you can. Hope you know what I mean.

Is this really as deranged as I think it is?

Even professional bands do that. GNR literally downtuned on all their songs, I don't see them doing it for Scott Weiland in VR. I personally dislike downtuning my bass.

Soulless bandmates part2. They never reply to emails!

I have been in bands with guys like these before, and I was the only one who replied to the band leaders which made me feel kinda silly. But the boys delivered what were requested in the emails and feedbacks were done in person during the next meetup, and the leader was cool about it. Some...

    Bas(s)tard or Bass Guitard

I called one of my guitarist a guitard the other day and he snapped back by asking me if I would rather be called a Bas(s)tard or Bass Guitard :spit: Damn, I should have kept my mouth shut :atoz:

    I failed it up live...

If only there are plutonium powered batteries available....you won't ever need to change your batts for the rest of your life.

Has this ever happened to you?

That's what I do too, except I record my ideas into my mobile phone. Quality sucks but it gets the job done. I will also carry an inexpensive flute which is small enough to go into my luggage. At least I have something to fool around with when the bass-withdrawal symptoms kick in :D

    Cockrock!

Been to Helsinki and learnt a few cool words off the TV. And I enjoyed the songs played on Headbangers' Ball.

    Talk about overplaying! (Estelle content)

The song sounds weird cos the singer was doing it a great injustice, kinda like she was flat all the way. This in turn had caused the busy bassist to stick out more but he is goooood! I don't think he is overplaying BTW.
