I tried that briefly at home, but came to the conclusion that it didn't work, for me, somehow the two Speakers didn't seem to mix/match well, for my specific need (halfacoustic shortscale with flats), that was with them placed nearby each other, within a Radius of max. 1,5 meters or so...

I find the Fender Flats to be a little on the dark side as well, once broken in, at least on my basses, so not sure if they would be what you' looking for.. Their Strength, imo, is their beautiful mids, mid-mids primarily, if that makes sense, good low mids as well, but not overwhelmingly, high...

Just for information, on my TC112V1 i even like to leave only one of these rubbers in one of the two ports, sounds a little bit different (and better to me) than fully open. On a boomy stage i add a full plug in the other port. Even more possibility..

I put tapewounds (pyramid black nylon) on mine and very much like it so far, bringing out more of the clear acoustic sound of the Bass (with american standard pu) compared to dr hi beams, that i had before, a little less punch maybe though on some notes, but hope they will break in a bit more...

There is the Carvin BX (500)/700/(1600), plenty of EQ, clean Sound, inexpensive, but i have no experience with it, so can't say about the Quality. There are clips on their yt-channel.

Im using my TC112V1 with an Al Focus S3 (and Clarus SL, older Model) and liked it more than other Amps i tried, GK Microheads, Puma 900, MB Lm3, sounded more natural, uncoloured, "acoustic" ; ) to me..although this is with Bass Guitars. But i missed some "colouration" in the mids to shine better...
